MBrowne Marketing Translations is an Hispanic marketing communications firm founded in Boston in 1999 by Mark Browne, a graduate of Harvard University and award-winning bilingual writer and editor.

Browne relocated the firm to Mexico City in 2001. Since relocating, the firm has expanded its client base to include international and local firms and Mexican government organizations.


The firm has also grown its roster of clients in the US to include major retailers, consumer products manufacturers and media companies. Our success is built upon personal attention to customers’ needs by committed professionals who perform all of the work in-house.

Mark Browne, Founder and Director of MBrowne Marketing, is an award-winning print journalist, freelance copywriter and Spanish translations editor. He is the former Chief of Copy at Nova Marketing Inc., a leader in home-improvement retail marketing, and worked as an Internet Marketing Consultant for Digitas, one of the largest interactive direct marketing agencies in the United States. Mr. Browne is a graduate of Harvard University and has studied in Mexico at the School for Foreigners at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He resides in Mexico City.

Arturo Ortiz Mercado, is a professional translator and translations database manager. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in System Management from Universidad del Valle de México and has studied both English and French at the Foreign Languages Studies Center at the UNAM. Mr. Ortiz specializes in the translation of telecommunications, finance, engineering, computing systems and marketing materials. He’s responsible for the research, creation, management and customization terminology databases.

Gregorio Pérez Miranda, a professional Spanish copywriter, is a graduate of the Social and Political Sciences School at UNAM. He has worked as an editor, copywriter and editing coordinator at publications and advertising firms in Mexico City.
